Oille Family Music Scholarship
The Oille Family Music Scholarship was established by the late William David Oille, his wife Joan Oille, their daughter Cathy Baer and her husband Ron, and their daughters, Carolyn and Angela Baer.

Proud supporters of the Kitchener-Waterloo music community, the Oille Family created this scholarship to encourage and support students in the Faculty of Music.

Eligible candidates are full-time undergraduate students entering Year 1 of the Honours Bachelor of Music, Community Music program.

As evaluated through the admission process and requirements, candidates must demonstrate significant community involvement during secondary school beyond that required for academic credit. The recipient will combine academic excellence with a demonstrated interest in the advancement of music in the community.

The scholarship is renewable in the subsequent three years of study in the same academic program on the condition that the incumbent maintains a cumulative GPA of 9.0, and demonstrates continued community involvement as assessed by the Faculty of Music.

Endowed scholarship.
